Will GTI seats bolt into an e-Golf?

Assuming they are also from the MK7 Golf, they might bolt up. I say might because I also have an ICEV Mk7 Golf (Alltrack) and as best as I can determine, the seats are identical to those of my eGolf. On the ICEV Golf the seats also sit on a raised platform above the floor, however that platform does not extend as far forward as on the eGolf (which is why the ICEV mats don't fit on the eGolf, they're too long).

This platform on the ICEV Golf Mk7 is only a couple of inches wider than the seat rails themselves and thus the middle section is at floor level, unlike the eGolf. In fact on the Alltrack, this hollowed-out section allows for a hidden drawer under the driver's seat (but VW was too cheap to put one on the passenger side). This drawer will also not fit on the eGolf, so any seats that have this drawer fitted will have to have them removed.

You may want to head over to the forums at VW Vortex where people will have more experience on seat swaps between cars. I recall there may be some coding of the computer that might have to be redone to prevent warning lights/messages from coming on, particularly if the replacement seat lacks certain features like the seat warmers.

Thank you.
