In an earlier post it was mentioned that the federal tax rebate for charging stations has been extended for 2015/2016:

The 2015 form is not yet out, the old one can be found at https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-access/f8911_accessible.pdf.
I'm about to put in a new station, are there any specific requirements for the contractor invoices about installing the station? I was going to ask the contractor to make out an invoice about "Install Electrical Car Charging Station", do you know if this is sufficient, or if there are other specific requirements? I have ordered the hardware through Amazon, so I assume the Amazon invoice is sufficient for that. The tax instructions don't say much about invoices and documentation.
