It has been over 7 years since the first mass-produced EV rolled off the line. Here we are in the 2019 model year, and still a lack of decent choices for EVs. I am wondering if auto manufacturers are resisting making decent cars as they are afraid an under $30k sedan that fits 5 people, and does not look like sub-compact would cannibalize other cars in their line.

Feeling extremely disappointed, that in 2019 we still have to choose between spending $70k for a reasonable EV, or struggle with a subcompact or futuristic type of vehicle.

It is an S-curve, and when it swings up, I think there will be plenty of choices.
