    Field mice...

Three times so far the wires under my eGolf have been eaten by rodents. Unfortunately I don't have a garage, but there are two other vehicles parked right next to mine, and the eGolf is all they go after. I've tried Cayanne pepper under the car, I've tried dryer sheets, nothing seems to work...

NRG evgo charging me for days I didn't charge...

I just got my monthly summery of charges from NRG, and I'm being charged for charging I didn't do. I went to the outlet mall in Camarillo and charged for about six hours on one day, they charged me for eight hours. Then two days later they charged me another eight hours, and then the next day...

July 2015 Plug-In Electric Vehicle Sales Report Card

The eGolf is the electric car we should have had ten years ago. Honestly I wish I bought the i3 instead. Every time I have to use the infotainment system I regret being stuck with this car. Luckily I'm only in a three year lease, I just wish I spent more time checking the car out before I...

    CA front license plate?

My e-Golf doesn't have a way to attach a license plate on the front. Which is required in CA. How is everyone else dealing with this? I just got my plates for the car today and plan on taking it back to the dealership to let them sort it out. I'm just wondering what others are doing.

"infotainment" needs a lot of work

The Beetle it was just built into the system, I didn't deal with anything other than turing it on. Plus it had a look that was sharp and fit the personality of the car, all the onscreen graphics were crisp, the controls easy and intuitive. The infotainment system in the eGolf is so bad, if I...

"infotainment" needs a lot of work

My eGolf is my 5th. VW, the first being a 1968 Beetle. The 1968 Beetle is the only car that had a worse system than the eGolf. Had I looked at the infotainment system before getting the eGolf, it would have been a deal breaker. It is HORRIBLE! Especially compared to the 2012 Beetle. That...

    Disconnecting the 12v battery

I've driven the car the last two days, about 120 miles, and just checked my health report. Everything is all green and working as it should. It took about a day for everything to reset, the tire pressure and hill roll back etc. Now it all works perfectly, including Car Net. :D

    Disconnecting the 12v battery

I've had my eGolf for a little under a month now, and the only way to get Car Net to work was to disconnect the 12v battery like all of you had. All went exactly as described here, with the exception of all my previous driving data was lost. Also now when I request a health report there are...
