I have a 2016 SE in Pacific Blue with 6,000 miles on it.
I'm curious how much does this car actually go for if I were to sell it today? I can't seem to get a price on KBB or TMV probably because there's not enough data?
Its confusing to me the car tells me a different time that maintenance is required from the manuals.
I just want to be within the terms of parameters of the warranty and lease requirements.
Has anyone tried the plethora of LED bulbs available as a retrofit for H7 headlights? I imagine you can get a lot of energy savings from them just like LED bulbs for home.
The 200 mile cars are based on all EV platforms. The MQB platform is still overwhelmingly ICE biased even if it had EV uses in mind. I doubt we will see a 200 mile golf until the next major platform change.
Airports have charging stations but if you're gone for a week you probably don't want to occupying that spot for that long.
My guess is that the 12v outlet will only charge the lead acid battery up front. In 3-5 years, if enough e-golfs are sold, there's potentially a retrofit higher capacity...
There is a 12v outlet in the back. It would be interesting if someone made a large enough battery that can reverse charge through that. Might be useful if you're parked somewhere for a long time. Let's say airport parking or even camping somewhere.
To me waiting 2 vs 4 hours for a refuel are both unacceptable waits if I'm not home or at work. If I'm at either location, then it's irrelevant. The charging price difference between the two are also so minuscule that it doesn't matter to me.
From negotiating a lot recently, it seems dealers have anywhere between 2-4k off MSRP room in the 2016 SEs without taking into account any credits or VW bonuses. Not sure how much more/less for the SEL but I imagine the situation is dynamic.
The $7500 federal credit is essentially forwarded to...
