Got the car back from dealer. They did nothing. Now theit story is - heater will not kick in unless the temperature outside is below some threshold (68F?). Really weird, considering there is nothing about it in the user manual. I guess I will check in a few months.

I have exactly the same with my cable charger - it flashes all lights like a Christmas tree. It does that even when not connected to a car. Dealer says if it charges (which it does) - then no need to be bothered. Will probably make them check/replace the charger anyway.
