    Chargepoint plug too big

FINALLY RESOLVED: Car was at the dealer for a week and they replaced several parts having to do with the charge port (8 total parts in total) actuator, lock, other parts I can't remember off the top. Still didn't resolve. I told them AGAIN, look at that ring on the inside of the charge port...

    Chargepoint plug too big

My L2 is a JuiceBox Classic 40. I believe these are still made in California. Here's a photo of my charge port. You will have to right-click and open in another window because it won't display here. You should be able to see the thin plastic ring (12 o'clock position) sticking up inside the...

    Chargepoint plug too big

Kinda hard to explain but the thickness of the circular end of the plug can vary plug to plug. Thin like my L1 (the gray circular plastic at the end of the handle that surrounds the white connectors) Thicker like my L2 (the black circular plastic that surrounds the black connectors) The...

    Chargepoint plug too big

UPDATE 2: Looks like I need to have my charge port repaired/replaced. So far dealer says port housing itself and possibly battery wire harness. Parts come in this week and repair is supposed to take 1-2 days. Been unable to charge with any L2 charger, only my L1 that came with the car will...

Loud thunk when going from R to P

Same thing here. I reverse into my driveway to my charging cords will reach, foot on brake, place in Park, clunk. Maybe has to do with the incline of the driveway? More concerned with my charging issues right now, so the clunk will have to wait.

    Chargepoint plug too big

Update: Finally got the green light when charging. The car was literally rocking back and forth I was shoving it in so hard. Level 1 charger will now click into place. Level 2 charger will not click into place but I can get it in there good enough to get a green charge light. Pretty janky...

Which Level 2 Charger Works Best with 2019 SE?

Yes, car is like 3 days new. Its a lease fyi too. I'll keep trying, just didn't want to break the port. Doesn't seem like there's much reinforcement behind it. I'm gonna have the dealer take a look as well so they have it documented .

    Chargepoint plug too big

Which charging handle do have on your Juicebox classic? Mine looks like the one on the left that doesn't seem to fit.

    Chargepoint plug too big

I'm wondering if my charge port is just off spec to allow a good connection.

    Chargepoint plug too big

Rubber washer is in there nice and secure, no debris, nothing. I did notice that the black plastic ring that surrounds the actual connectors is thicker than the one on my level 1 Delphi. With the L1 Delphi can at least get the orange light and charge the car sometimes.

Which Level 2 Charger Works Best with 2019 SE?

Any recommendations on Level 2 chargers that work best with a 2019 model year? My current L2 (Juicebox 40 from 2016) doesn't seem to fit well. Been shoving it in there pretty hard but no click/lock and no charge light. I have used the charge successfully for 3 years when I had my leaf. Does...

    Chargepoint plug too big

I just picked up a 2019 SE and seem to be having some issues with charge plugs. First the charge port doesn't lock, I don't see the metal pin pop out at all. I did read a post that said 2016 SE models do not lock at all, only SEL models do. Is that the case for 2019 models as well? When...
