I've have some dealers in the Bay Area say the same thing but I talked to other 3 dealerships, one said verbally he would match but I can't tell for sure if that would have been true. It's really odd, I keep hearing that happening in SoCal. In the Bay Area I got $7,700 off MSRP and a few dealerships were ok giving that discount. Unfortunately for those looking to buy now, VW no longer has the 0% APR offer for this month.

Nope that's what I liked about this dealer, everything was clear and agreed upon from the beginning even before stepping into the dealership and the numbers I got were the numbers we had discussed, nothing on top of it. They just tried to upsell a maintenance package but I didn't take it.

To close the loop on that, I ended up buying the 2017 e-Golf SE with DCFC and I believe I got a good deal. Thanks all for your feedback. There are still plenty of 2017 e-Golfs in the Bay Area and I can definitely refer you to 2 sales persons from 2 different dealerships (maybe a 3rd one even)...

There are quite a few still here in the Bay Area listed on several dealers' page.

Hi all! I have a good offer similar to the one in the other thread "2017 SE $24.5K + taxes and fees, 0% APR" (I'm also in the Bay Area :)). Since VW offers 0% APR on e-Golf in March plus the good dealer discount it's pretty tempting. I'm just wondering if it's really the best time to buy it...
