ALL 2018 e-Golfs will have the digital cockpit (which is currently only available with the DAP in the 2017 model). If your SEL Premium doesn't have that then it's a 2017.

The new 2018's will have the 9.25" screen i.e. something currently unavailable in the US. (I'm assuming here you measured the diagonal of the screen and not the width). I also presume the bigger screen would mean adjusting the radio volume via the screen instead of a knob. Not sure I like...

Yes - totally agree. The color selection (especially for the e-Golf) is awful if you're constraining yourself to a beige interior.

Thanks very much for responding Voltron. When was it you made your purchase? And just so I understand it clearly, you purchased (i.e. didn't finance) and effectively you paid MSRP less $4k. This isn't counting any state and federal incentives. Right?
