Sorry for the late update. As it turned out the seats from the donor car were more worn than expected so I abandoned the project for now. Another instance where digital images do not replace seeing something in person. The seats were coming out of a 2015 GTI and were leather sport seats. Too bad...
Swap out your stained cloth seats from your 2016 eGolf with the seats (front and rear) from my 2019 eGolf SE. Black cloth and doesn't stain like the 2016 models. Getting GTI leather seats and hate to see these go to the junk pile. Located in San Francisco and must pick up. Come and get them!
I just installed the frameless auto-dim mirror with home-link in my 2019 e-Golf SE with DAP. The mirror I used was 000-072-548-F and purchased through Deutsche Autoparts. I found the mirror cheaper at some dealers but the shipping charges were outrageous which made the final cost greater than...
If the charging schedule sticks, I can live without CarNet. Would be better to be able to have 90% charge levels set for certain seasons but having the charge go to 100% isn't the end of the world either. This is the biggest shortsighted design feature of the 2015 models. I find it hard to...
I knew I didn't like the can of goo and compressor idea when the salesman was going over the features of the car. Fast forward six months and a pothole put a nice hole in the sidewall of the right front tire. Since the sideway was damaged the tire goo did nothing but make a mess. Long story...
Short of trying the disconnect the 12V battery trick, I have tried all variations of setting and resetting charging locations as well as minimum battery settings and come up with two way to get the delayed charging to work.
1. Turn off off-peak feature in the charging locations profile. This...
After reading your post I attempted to follow the steps you have outlined. Unfortunately in my case this did not solve the issue. So back to departure time charging. As of yet the departure time charging is working as designed so I'm inclined to leave it alone even if the off peak feature starts...
My 2015 eGolf SEL is having the same issue that you car describing. After trying different times and charge location profiles without success. I have turned the "Off-Peak" feature off in the charge location profile and really the only difference is that the charging doesn't kick off immediately...
I did get the car from Serramonte VW but for the picture I put the German export plate. From what I read where others had switched to larger wheels with non-LRR tires saw a loss in the neighborhood of 20%. For this reason I specifically picked a LRR tireand the loss I'm getting I attribute to...
So from the beginning I did not care for the wheels that came on the e-Golf SEL.....actually I hated them. After reading the forums on the costs of a larger wheel I decided to move forward as I typically don't go farther than 45 miles in a day. I picked up a set of Austin's and had Pirelli P7...
I purchased the Jesla charger and it has performed flawlessly even with the Car-Net delayed timer function.
