I was on that plan, paying $11-12 for a charge sucked. I'd steer toward the ChargePoint stations even though it would take way more time and only give me barely enough charge to get home. The new plans seem like a win-win.

The eGolf is sweet but I wouldn't mind an EV that's a bit larger. I am looking forward to the next generation that will have a decent range and fit a family of 4 for a weekend trip. I think a dedicated platform is required for an EV to have a big enough battery to get decent range.
