The main problem of such a retrofit is that HV battery of a non-DC car doesn't contain DC socket in rear part, DC lines and contactors inside the shell. Very likely HVB control module J840 isn't programmed to switch DC coils as well.

Have had troubles to access the forum for a while.
I successfully swapped 2015 US SEL Combo1 to Combo2 harness, all is compatible and bolt_on. You just need the right HV battery charge management module (BD).
