Our check was just cashed, took a couple weeks to get plates (we bought Xmas eve) and it's been 4-5weeks since we sent in app for stickers. Hopefully any day now that they've cashed the check. I wonder if showing the cop my bank stmt is adequate, I mean, it's just a formality at this point...

I'm confused, my "minimum battery charge level" is 50%. What does that even mean? I always just plug in to places when I'm running errands, I don't understand what this even does.

I was hoping to find a different answer to this as well... I wonder if there is a possible fix, software update or something. It's always things like this that annoy you as an owner but you would never think of during a test drive. :x

I called carnet today. There is not currently a way for the egolf to unlock a charge plug. I explained the situation and requested they make this a future software update for remote options. I think this is the largest issue I have with the car thus far. A work around for me is to go at lunch...

I have found this my largest complaint also. It's a fairly consistent group ev vehicles that use the two available chargers near my work and I hate even plugging in the morning because if I get stuck at work I am preventing anyone else from using the charger all day. The volts and leafs, unsure...

It's a tesla charger at the Park n Ride, common in California, hence why I thought it was weird and posted this thread.

So we are coming across an array of chargers, but noticed a Honda Accord Hybrid using a Tesla charger at a Park n Ride this morning. We were told the e-golf can't use the Tesla chargers, everything I read when I got home said the Accord can use the same J1772 chargers that most of the EV...

"Why don't you just put the shift into B and go with Level 4 regen?" Ron, I drive through a lot of hills and hit some trafficked red lights going to work, so I like to let it idle brake with 2 and 3, B seems to brake too hard for this type of driving.

Overall it was been fun adapting to our new e-golf. We don't mind walking a bit to charge up at public plugs, I think you have to enjoy the adventure of this part of it. From the limited time I have been in a Leaf and Prius, I think the interior is far and away superior on the e-golf, it feels...
