I'm also on the West coast and had to forget about "GPS time" and just reset it manually. Life's too short to worry about some stupid VW bug. We love the car but some things in it are just the weirdest I've ever seen in any car.

We've been charging our new '19 car to 80% using a level 2 charger and the "minimum charge" trick. But I've been reading various stories that VW already has a buffer built-in where the car is really charging to something like 90% even when full. If that's true, should we set the min charge to 90...

We've had our car for over 2 months now and still haven't received anything from VW; I'm thinking some kind of a welcome package, maybe a dealer survey, etc... We're registered with Carnet, but is there some other kind of registration we need to do with VW?

As Sparkle said, you're already half way there with your plug in the garage. Check out Costco, they have a Siemens or Juicebox, best prices, and one or the other is typically on sale and of course Costco's famous service if something goes wrong...
