    Egolf vibrating above 60 mph

My new Egolf seems to shudder and vibrate above 60-65 miles an hour. It's brand new, might have to take the dealership to get the alignment checked. Does anyone else have this issue?

    Many thanks to JoulesThief!

Congratulations. It's great that people on the forum can help out others in their car buying process. Did you have any luck with the Massachusetts dealers? I found the Chevy dealers easier to work with and honored the email quote when I got my Volt a couple of months back, which wasn't the case...

Buyers of e-Golf. Did you pay MSRP full price?

I did have the out of the door price in email, but the guy handling my sale wasn't the one who sent the quote. I did have dealer an hour away willing to beat the price, but since I had a trade-in involved it was hard to compare apples to apples. I've always been able to walk out of the...

Buyers of e-Golf. Did you pay MSRP full price?

The trade in value was $4500 for comparison purposes. It got a little hectic towards the end of the negotiation. I was offered $21500 OTD with 0%, but they didn't tell me that they included the $7500 fed rebate in that. I hate it when dealers include the rebates in the final price, just a way...

Buyers of e-Golf. Did you pay MSRP full price?

I ended up getting a 2015 SEL for $21800 including tax, title and registration after trading in my 2007 VW GTI with 128,000 miles. This is in Massachusetts. After the $2500 state and %7500 fed rebate, should $11,800.

How can I buy being a resident of Texas?

I got offered a 12,000 mile lease for $119 month including taxes and fees. The trade in was valued at $4500. The residual was a lot higher than I expected at $12,376. The purchase price would be $24,600 - $4500 trade in. I'm trying to decide between the lease or the trade in.

How much did the other charges come to at Minuteman? The documentation fees, acquisition..etc?

    Winter Range of e-golf

That's great to know, definitely looks like I should get atleast 60 miles during the coldest days. I'll be preheating in the morning, but will have to use the heat pump in the evening since there is no charger at work. Workplace charging options in Massachusetts are abysmal.

How can I buy being a resident of Texas?

The dealers are getting very competitive now that it's the end of the month. Another dealer offered the SEL for $24,600 after loyalty. I think in the end it's going to be who gives me the most for my 07 GTI.

    Winter Range of e-golf

I'm pretty close to getting a 2015 E-Golf SEL to replace my Fit EV which has been a great vehicle, but with terrible winter range. What's the range people have noticed in a typical New England winter, especially a brutal one like last year. I need atleast a 60 mile range with a 50 mile...

How can I buy being a resident of Texas?

I got offered a price of $26,999 before the loyalty discount. I'll have to see if they pull any fast ones once I actually visit the dealership.

How can I buy being a resident of Texas?

I'm also considering an EGolf in the Boston area. Most of the dealers seem to be playing the same trick of adding the fed rebate and advertising it as the discounted price. They seem to have increased their prices after the addition of the loyalty rebate. I'm planning on going to Minuteman for a...
