If you give then the tech tip number and ask it to be performed they have no reason not to do it. This particular one is only an adjustment to a setting within the HVAC control module. Thoes types of bulletins can be very hard to find (this is why people have been suggesting using key words)...

That is not 100% the case. Since 2005 the Touareg you have to press the gas pedal to start the car with the key.

Don't say the setting are wrong. Per repair information it is working correctly if it turns on at 72f. Tell them you want it changed. And give them the tech tip number. Make sure they put all that information on the repair order and it's correct..if nothing is on thr repair order the tech...
