It's a legally mandated feature, so it would be surprising if it's not present. There's a fault light for it and all. So your vehicle is totally silent around 10mph, no sound from the engine compartment (right wheel well, to be precise) at all?

If you use an OBD tool like OBDeleven you can get that information from the battery control module. Probably not worth the effort, though.

Another data point: Mine is a December 2018 build, and DOES have the strakes.

2017+ has bigger battery, so more range. If the range on the 15 and 16 meets your needs there's no reason not to buy one at the right price.

Sounds like very cool mods to make the car look and feel sportier. There might be a significant reduction in range from all of the changes, especially the big wheels. If the trade off is worth it then go for it!
