Re: suspension rattle from rear - what is it?

My dealer is replacing the rear sway bar links. They finally heard the noise, put 'chassis ears' on the car to figure out what was rattling, and determined the links were the problem. Next week we'll know for sure after they replace them. BTW, the replaced my right A-pillar cover and that fixed the ...

Re: suspension rattle from rear - what is it?

I had the same problem with my 2019 e-golf. It completely went away when I had my tires rotated for the first time (at 5,000 miles). Never figured out what it was, but it's gone now. How long has it been since the rattle went away? I'm pretty sure it's the rear sway bar end links. When the weather ...

Re: Found my battery's aging %, seems low -- or is it?

I can not confirm it, but it is certainly possible these values refer to the 12 V battery. If you want to determine the state of health of your high voltage battery pack, then a functional test is the best way to get that information. There's another parameter you can look at too and that's the KWh...

Re: Charging timer issues

I also sometimes see all charge timers go away. My solution that works 100% of the time is to hold down the power button on the infotainment until it reboots. Voila, all timers return. A bit of a pain, but it is a reliable solution. Thanks for that tip. I haven't experienced timer issues, but how t...

Re: Under Hood Tour

9 is the windshield washer fluid feed.

Also you have a heat pump (the bundle of aluminum lines under the coolant bottle). Non heat pump models have a lot less tubing there.

Re: Charging Door Won't Open

Took my 2015 to Stevens Creek Volkswagen in Santa Clara, CA. $62.73 for the actuator part and $450 for a little over 2 hours of labor. About a year ago the charging cable would not release from the car after charging. Had to have it towed to dealer. They fixed that for free even though warranty had...

Does the 2019 use different wiper blades?

I have a 2019 eGolf and RockAuto doesn't list Bosch wiper blades for it but they do for a 2018. Did VW change the wiper blades in the 2019? Autozone lists some Bosch replacements for the 2019 with an OE in the part number (which RockAuto doesn't carry unfortunately). Anyone else with a 2019 and put ...

suspension rattle from rear - what is it?

My 2019 has a rattle that is coming from the rear of the car (sounds like it anyways). At speed I can't hear it as the road noise drowns it out, but around parking lots it's decently loud. I've tried to notice if it's worse on turns (nope), straight ahead (yes) and what type of road irregularity cau...

Re: How to remove A-pillar cover? 2019 eGolf

Thank you! I also googled around and found this https://www.golfmk7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6481 There's a few users in that thread that talk about rattling from their a-pillar. It talks about popping the a-pillar cover out a little then sliding the clip up towards the roof. There's some images...

Hi.... New here! Reading through all the back and forth on this subject of what's legal and what's not has anyone been able to fix the problem??
No idea but I hope someone figures it out soon. It's one of the reasons I miss my TDI.
