tire valve stem for 2019 e-Golf

I am trying to put together a full-size spare tire. Have ordered 5Q0-601-027-BS-03C wheel. Now trying to determine proper tire valve stem to fit that wheel. The ones on the car are rubber (they flex) with plastic caps. My searches keep coming up with VW part 1K0601361B at prices from 50 down to 25 U...

Re: spare steel wheel part number

I received a seller message –
"5Q0-601-027-BT-03C is for a temporary spare 3.5x18 ET25.
5Q0-601-027-BG-03C is for a full size tire 6x16 ET48"
Quite an obscure numbering system!

Re: spare steel wheel part number

Thanks for reply. Yes, we want a full drivable spare. in 4+ years of e-Golf ownership, mostly wife driving to/from her office, we have had at least 5 flats and 2 required replacing tire. Road debris (screws, nails) every time. No spare is not a good policy for her. I won't mind the slight height ris...

spare steel wheel part number

For our 2019 e-Golf, I would like to obtain a steel wheel for a spare, preferably one that would be suitable as a driving tire. Searching various sources leads me to confusion as to part number. I find these options among others – 5Q0-601-027-BG-03C listed as "16, w/ e-Golf" at $139 (MSRP $215) 5Q0-...

12V battery - expected voltage?

What is the expected voltage reading for the 12 V battery? VARTA ... Ours seems to be jumping around quite a bit 12.24 to 12.30 or so Charger is plugged into car, but scheduled to not start until early morning. Car is 22 months in service, only about 5000 miles. One reason for concern is wife had ca...

Re: Owner's Manual

We were able to save the VW online manual (in Safari browser) as a WebArchive.
Then loaded that into an iPad app (GoodReader) which accommodates many formats.
Works great!

Re: battery capacity like in a Leaf

I don't know about the Leaf, but in the e-Golf the lower dial on the right (#6 in the image) shows the battery charge in 1/16 increments –

e-setting set for "6 AM ready", but today STARTED at 6 AM –

The e-manager settings are like this – image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v3n9k68pertsof8/2019%2008%2027%20set%20for%200600%20ready.JPG?dl=0 For the last several weeks it has, indeed, been starting so as to be ready at about 6 AM – image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/23ym5qtnl3k0qha/2019-08-24.jpg?dl=0 B...

Scary mystery sound ...

Our 2019 e-Golf SE, about 8 weeks old, just caused some concern. Wife was driving home from errands, stopped at mailbox near our house. When she started up, there was a terrible scraping sound from somewhere in the front end. Seemed more from left front wheel area. Sounded like sheet metal scraping ...

Re: Set delayed charge to be ready at 7 AM, but it stops at

Thanks tp both of you for the responses. I think that miscalculation of finishing time is part of it, but then it sure started late ... Anyway the 120V EVSE is now stored in the trunk, and we are happy with a $199 16A Level2 EVSE from Zencar (Amazon B075GJK2S9) which fits a 20A 240V receptacle we ha...
