Have you looked online for the part? How about you get it yourself and/or have an independent shop replace valve. Could you please let us know the part number?

There is a separate high voltage system warranty. 5 years / 60,000 miles, I believe.

Still under warranty. Bring video and car to VW dealer for the fix.

Yikes! That is bad. Something is wrong.

Do you unlock the car and then remove the connector within 20 seconds of unlocking?

Good point about software updates for the rest of our cars. VW is very stingy with software updates.

In the USA the Magnussen Moss Warranty Act (federal law) guarantees warranty coverage even if you never use dealer for maintenance, and use an independent shop or even do the maintenance yourself.

I haven’t brought my car to a dealer for Many years - I perform the tire rotation myself.

True. Could be a cell wire connection issue or software.

Check all cell group voltages. (There are 3 cells in parallel per “cell” in OBD data). Maybe there is a bad cell?
