Re: Are Crossclimate 2 tyres BEST ?

Why not stick with OEM tires? I am guessing VW engineers did a lot of work to a tire with the optimum specs for range and grip. What does Michelin claim about their tires? Have you found any tire tests that suggest "best" choice?

Re: 2016 E-Golf gives error when I unplug charger

I don't think so, but to rule out the station you typically use (that is associated with this error), how about you try charging at a variety of public L2 stations?

What EVSE do you typically use to charge your car at home?

Re: 2016 E-Golf gives error when I unplug charger

Sounds to me like there is a bad connection between the charge port and the computer.

Re: L2 Charging keeps trying to charge after 100% reached

Ok. I wonder if it is a bad on board charger, bad communication cable or bad CPU? This will certainly require a technician with EV expertise to diagnose.

Re: L2 Charging keeps trying to charge after 100% reached

Nice that you got an expensive new charge port but clearly your car didn't need it. Sorry you've had to make so many trips to the dealer. The error code sounds to me like a bad connection or ground wire somewhere in your car. Maybe take a very close look at all of the electrical connections related ...

Re: How to Find Someone's email address by profession - Facebook To The Rescue

Facebook is a threat to our democracy. Facebook has enabled enslavement, genocide, and fascism. Whatever good came out of Facebook was far outweighed by the bad, IMHO. DO NOT use Facebook.

Re: Battery charge port cover (door) latch INOP and charging socket locking INOP

Good to hear. That means VW properly implemented the J1772 protocol on cars without DCFC. Based on comments in this forum, the protocol is not correctly implemented on cars with a CCS port. I doubt there is an easy way to disable locking and since the protocol requires locking to prevent sparking, I...

Re: Personal Scooter Project + VW eGolf Parts

I have no knowledge of CAN bus commands. All of the parts you show are associated with charging the car - I do not understand the term "storage tray" as these parts are for charging. I can tell you the 5GE915211 display is associated with controlling and monitoring car charging - the buttons let the...
