Good To Go Pass (WA State)

Hello - can anyone tell me if the Good To Go windshield sticker (transponder) works on the eGolf heated windshield? If so, where did you place it?

Re: Daily commute charging question

I don't think you can expect 220 km of range with that commute, especially if running A/C. Driving any distance at 120 km/hr will surely put a quick dent in your range. Achieving 220 km of range with city/suburban driving is safer bet. The owner's manual says that "frequent and consecutive" use of D...

Re: e-golf owners in Oregon?

Hello from Portland and congrats on your new eGolf. I spot quite a few of them on the road around here (there's even another guy on my street who has one). But probably only a fraction of owners reading/posting in this forum. This site (and the eGolf forum on Speak EV) are excellent resources.

Re: Under Hood Tour

Great info.

I didn't realize models with heat pump also had resistance heating. I actually thought (3) was the heat pump.
Item (7) is also one of the things I'm not sure about.
Item (8) is rather hidden, but there is a device of some sort down under there.

Re: Under Hood Tour

#9 - ah yes, of course. I didn't notice that the washer ports were tucked under the hood. It looked more like an electrical cable to me. I didn't realize the tubing was associated with the heat pump. Assumed it was part of the general cooling system.

Under Hood Tour

https://i.imgur.com/UaLKJjv.jpg Since many of us aren't driving eGolf so much lately, perhaps we're passing some of our time just looking at it. I occasionally take a look under the hood, just to admire the electric motor's simplicity. We're looking here at a 2019 model, with selected parts numbere...

Re: Charger will not release from charging port 2019 egolf

Thanks for posting the outcome. That's a really maddening experience. If I were you, I'd still take it to the dealer for them to look at. Not sure what they'll be able to do, but the more awareness, the better. The obvious fear is wondering when it will happen again. I think some have suggested use ...

Re: Speed Bump Bottom Out

Obviously impossible for me to know if there was any damage. I'd like to think that VW included some protection for the battery packs. I can tell you from much past experience (including with old low-clearance sports cars) that these events often sound much more damaging than they actually are.
