Re: Multiple charging plugs won't lock.

My 2015 SEL also would not charge, and was in the dealer for just over a month. They replaced the charger unit under the hood which the dealer said cost $2000, and said that it was showing faults that the battery was overheated (falsely) and would not charge. Before that it was having the intermitt...

Re: Multiple charging plugs won't lock.

I've heard that they need to drop the battery to replace the charge port. So, they may do it all at once. I read that too (here I think) but the dealer insists that they have done more than one replacement of the charge port and the battery does not need to be dropped to replace it. I have a VWoA c...

Re: Latest broken Car-Net update

Maybe this is coincidence but I had recently cleared cache on my phone and was having this "no vehicle registered" problem. Every time I launched the app I would have to re-register. When I uninstalled the app and re-installed it everything worked fine. Clearing cache should not break an a...

2016 SE 159/month MD

Has anyone done this deal? Any comments (about the deal, not SE vs SEL or options)? We might be leasing one for my mother-in-law. Think there is any room for negotiation with this? I'm thinking she can get 3k back from the state (excise tax rebate) so we could put up to 3k down and end up with payme...

Re: Charges completely instead of delaying

Have you tried setting a location to 50% for a delayed schedule that takes effect in the time frame before your "real" schedule kicks in? Good idea, I'll set an overlapping daily schedule @ 50% for 11 PM and test it next week. Thanks So, it's next week, plus over the weekend, how is it wo...

Re: Charges completely instead of delaying

Update: Still not working. Still charges to MAX and does not stop after 50% and wait for the delay like it should. Interestingly if my location is set to 90% it will stop at 90% and not 100%. Have been to 3 different dealers and have an escalated case with VWoA. VW engineers found a fault in the log...

Re: Car-net and delayed charging

Understood, I'm considering abandoning Car-net but that's a function I currently use but wouldn't get. The reasons I use 50% minimum are 1) so I don't leave the battery in a depleted state for several hours each day waiting for the delay, and 2) in case I need to run an errand later in the evening. ...

Re: Car-net and delayed charging

With the Chargepoint Home (or Juicebox) is there a way to have it automatically charge to a minimum like 50% immediately and then delay the remainder of the charge until early morning?
