Re: No OBD port?

Found it! Was pushed up out of its holder and located behind the storage compartment.

The OBD port on my car is not under a cover - it is to the left of the steering wheel.
That’s what I expected but it’s just not there. I’ll have to contact the dealer since they’ve had the car in a few times already and I assume hooked up a scanner.

No OBD port?

I checked under the cover next to the steering wheel, and there is no port. Is this odd or normal?

This is a 2018 LHD model. Here’s where you’d expect to see it but there’s just an empty space.

Re: Driving in B mode often can cause issues?

The second statement you make "In normal driving almost all braking is regen unless a panic stop." is only true if you keep your car in any of the regen modes available (D1, D2, D3 or B) and never use the brake pedal. You do know that while not in any regen mode (like plain D) pressing on the brake...

Regen works very well the faster you’re going, but it’s worthless at low speeds and cannot stop the vehicle.
Using B mode at low speeds will slow my car almost to a stop, which works great in slow traffic. So, I think you are over exaggerating when you say “worthless” because it’s not.

Not exactly sure what "comfort windows" means,
I believe the correct description is “Convenience mode” or “Convenience opening”

but when I lock my car, if I continue to hold the lock button on the key fob, all of the windows close.

Re: Comfort Windows Open/Close

If you are in North America, or, US specifically, I read that the feature is disabled due to safety concerns whereby pinch protection is off while using this feature. You can enable it using OBDeleven diagnostic and scan tool for your e-Golf.

My new Level 2 charger is so amazing!!!

I know that car-net is a mess, and there's an obvious glitch here, but I though this was too funny. Check the "Estimated miles remaining" I got the other day... :D
