Re: Battery degradation

About 30,500 miles on my 2015 SEL. Still shows 109 miles on the Guess -O Meter when fully charged. Showed 129 miles on the Guess O Meter when brand new in October, 2015. I guess I didn't abuse it enough. I suspect that you'll be getting a remanufactured battery from the motherland, as every time I'v...

Re: What’s a “good” miles/kWh?

I just don't see how it would be possible to average above 6 miles/kWh over the long term, unless maybe you're always driving downhill. Over 7 seems impossible in any sort of normal driving situation. Maybe you mean kilometers/kWh? The best I've ever done for a single driving session was 6.3 miles/...

Re: Lose 1/8th charge after about a day from full charge, without driving.

Either drive the car 3 or 4 miles after a full charge, or don't charge fully, unless you plan to use the top portion of the charge, shortly after the charging is complete. This is more for charging at mobile locations, not for fully recharging at home. I sometimes lose one tick mark on my 2015 SEL, ...

Good luck with your sale. That's really low mileage for the age. It should sell quick.

I got an invitation to sign up in my email, but unfortunately Car-Net is required for me to participate. Sorry, not paying for that stinking dumpster fire of an app.

Good luck to you guys!

Agreed, wholeheartedly on Car-Net. Stupid amount of money for nothing at all.

Re: Tips for securely slow charging?

The 2015 models came with a EVSE charger that will pull 13.3 amps. Please, at a minimum, use an extension cord, if 25 feet or less, of 12 gauge, 20 amp capable wire. If 50 feet or longer, use an extension cord of at least 10 gauge wire. If the plugs or extension cord are getting warm or hot, you're ...

I have already done the suggested Hazard on then press 0.0 then start up. "Inspection Now" warning is still popping up after resetting it? BTW, I have a 2016 SE and any assistance would be awesome.
Do a search on YouTube. I'm sure you'll find a demonstration there for a 2016.

Re: Speed governor

The problem is you, not the limiter on the car. You adapt to the cars, the car doesn't adapt to you. The VW engineers took mediocrity into account in the design. They build it for the least common denominator dim witted "can't fix stupid" driver out there, and dumb it down to that level. But we cont...

Hi.... New here! Reading through all the back and forth on this subject of what's legal and what's not has anyone been able to fix the problem??
If it's a problem, you should have bought a Tesla model S with Ludicrous Mode, instead.

Re: Replacing the factory default infotainment in a 2016 eGolf

Probably not worth the effort, unless you are a VW Guru or nut with the skills and a Ross TEch cable and software package to get the coding right. Otherwise, buy something else with an entertainment system that you already like.
