"Swoosh" sound on deceleration

Mon May 03, 2021 6:58 am

2017 eGolf;

Semi-regularly, when letting go of the accelerator, there is a soft "swooosh" sound emanating from the front (motor compartment?). No driveability issues, no codes. More common when accelerator was depressed for a few seconds, then let go, as opposed to rapid movement.
Some sort of servo or controller noise?

Hard to know. Could be the motor. There are also pumps for the cooling system that make a tiny bit of noise. I do not think there is a reason to worry. Maybe record the sound?
