2019 OEM wheel weight measured

Not sure if this has been done before, so I took one of mine off and weighed it. It measured at 41.6 lbs. I have a Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tire mounted, which Tire Rack lists as weighing 21 lbs in that size. Using my amazing powers of mathematics, the OEM wheel ("Astana"?) should weigh 20.6 lbs.

That seems light to me. I thought my scale was accurate (I know its, at minimum, consistent). Does 20.6 pounds sound right for the OEM wheel?

You're right on - wheel weight of the 16" Astana has been reported as 9.3kg, or 20.5 lbs. It's an ugly wheel, yeah, but it's pretty light.

Not really that light in the grand scheme of things, I replaced mine with some 17x8 wheels that weigh 18 lbs. It's on the lighter side for OEM but nothing exceptional.
