Hello,

I'm purchasing a used e-Golf, 2017 SE, 22,600 miles, with the DC Quick Charging Package installed. This is my first EV so I'm gathering information like crazy! I take delivery next week, then will have 7 days to decide if I'm keeping it (Carvana).

What should I be sure to check?

TIA for all suggestions!

Congrats! EV specific things I would check:

Does the included L1 charging station (granny cable) work?
Verify L2 AC charging and DCFC charging works.
Verify the e-manger enables delayed charging.
Reset the "extended trip" (forgot exact wording) stats, charge to 100% and drive the car down to 10% SoC to estimate usable battery capacity.

Thanks! I will check all these.

Once I've estimated the usable battery capacity - what do you consider to be an acceptable level for a 2017?

Before you reset the "extended trip", take a look at the mi/kwh (higher the better), average speed, and distance traveled data. It will give you a clue as to the driving conditions and aggressiveness of the previous owner.
