Anyone planning to get this? If it's truly $35k before incentives and get a range of 200 miles it might sell just as well as the Tesla model 3 since the BMW will have plenty of Federal/State rebates remaining.

We don't know enough about it to even decide if it will be competitive with 2017's cars, much less the cars available at the time that it actually becomes available. When will that be exactly?
 
They're scheduled to unveil it at the Frankfurt auto show in September.. Until then, everything is speculation. But you can bet it won't be for sale until 2018...maybe even 2019.

It's too bad the current 330e doesn't qualify for the full federal tax credit and state rebates, otherwise its pricing would run similar to the Volt's. Still, $6k down + $129/mo is less than a comparable 330i, so that's not a bad offering if you only need 20 miles all-electric range.

Isn't there at least a 8k difference in price between the Bolt and 330e? (36k > 44k)? That's not very comparable.
