This happened to me today. I've never had this happen to any of my cars before. I hope this isn't common to VWs. I removed the wheel to look for the problem, but all I needed to do was pull the rotor shield away from the rotor and the rock dropped to the garage floor.

While driving last night I didn't really notice it, unless I focused my eyes on the windshield. I guess it's probably not as big of a deal as I was thinking. I really love driving this car. I have a 2017 Tesla MS, so that says a lot.

Had to go to a couple charging stations yesterday. My level 2 charger should arrive in the mail today. Anyway it was fun looking for places to charge and get free or cheap electrons. At one stop I looked through all the car's menus and I couldn't find charge rate or how many amps the car was...

I noticed it, but it didn't bother me until night time. It doesn't seem worth the visual distraction to have a heated windshield. I'm surprised there's not more complaining on here about it.
