This happened to me today. I've never had this happen to any of my cars before. I hope this isn't common to VWs. I removed the wheel to look for the problem, but all I needed to do was pull the rotor shield away from the rotor and the rock dropped to the garage floor.
While driving last night I didn't really notice it, unless I focused my eyes on the windshield. I guess it's probably not as big of a deal as I was thinking. I really love driving this car. I have a 2017 Tesla MS, so that says a lot.
Had to go to a couple charging stations yesterday. My level 2 charger should arrive in the mail today. Anyway it was fun looking for places to charge and get free or cheap electrons. At one stop I looked through all the car's menus and I couldn't find charge rate or how many amps the car was...
Yeah it seems unnecessary and visually distracting. Maybe I'll change my mind this winter. If the windshield does need to be replaced, is there an non-heated aftermarket option? That would make the most sense. It's my daughters car and it probably won't bother her young eyes as much as mine...
I noticed it, but it didn't bother me until night time. It doesn't seem worth the visual distraction to have a heated windshield. I'm surprised there's not more complaining on here about it.
It saves on brakes and increases your range. I live in a hilly area, so that might make a difference. My daughter drives a few miles down to her school and arrives with more range than she left with. I also find one pedal driving to be much more enjoyable.
I had the same experience with...
I'm planning on sticking with X-Ice. Just waiting for Costco's October tire sale.
Maybe you can find some stock rims on Craigslist. I think they look good, but just about every YouTube video rips on them, so maybe a lot of people getting rid of them.
Still experiencing my first week with my eGolf. I talked to the salesman that sold me the car, today. I told him how it took me a bit to figure out the different regen levels, and that I came to the conclusion to just keep it in B. He warned me that the brakes are always applied a little bit...
You're right. It says UL94V-0, but that doesn't mean it's UL listed. I saw that 12 month warranty too, so I kept looking. I'm wasting way too much time on this, but that's how I am. I found these other two with 3 year warranties, but it would be nice to be able to use an adapter to charge...
Thank you. I was getting ready to order one and then I realized it had a 30A plug on it. I wanted to keep it simple and convert one of the dedicated 20A outlets in my garage to a 20A 240V receptacle. I'll have to do more research and see if they have one with a NEMA 6-20, or maybe they have...
And when it's in that not fully on state you can still shift into D or R? Yeah I'm thinking that's what happened. I just went and looked at the parking garage I was parked in and it is sloped enough to roll back slowly. I was thinking it was level, but I put the car I drove today in neutral...
I just bought a new eGolf three days ago. It also did something strange the second day. I wasn't sure if it was user error or not. I turned it on and shifted into reverse. It started backing up, but the steering wheel power wasn't on yet. I turned it off and back on a couple of times and it...
