I'm having the same issue. For me, I plug the car in and am told a false time remaining until charged. Refreshing does nothing. When i try to update the car settings i get an error message that the car is not reachable. The shop foreman at the dealer has been great. Vw appears to be working...

I like the idea of making people pay to leave their cars after charging is complete. It drives me batty when a person takes the cord when they don't need it. Very thoughtless.

Using an OBD-II reader and the android Torque app, I checked error codes. The app found no stored codes. And, by the way, the error has not recurred. For now I am not going to worry. If it appears again, I will plug the OBD-II reader in before shutting down to see if I can see the fault then.

Vw did encourage me to take it to the dealer. I'm just not curious enough to take time off work to do that. If it happens again I will. In the interim I'll yet my obd-2 reader and see if that tells me anything.

Mine does this too and it definitely is not the camera. I can avoid it by going to neutral before selecting park.
