I wanted to get this fixed for my new 2017 e-Golf SE bought in Feb. The service rep in SF Bay Area immediately knew what to do and he scheduled an appointment for following Saturday. I didn't have to show the specific code etc. He was also annoyed that VW still hasn't fixed it in spite them...

Only way to pass I have found to pause/pay so far is the soft button on touch screen (on my 2017 e-golf). Is there a physical button? One alternative is to turn the stereo on or off, but that seems heavy handed. To be fair the touch screen is good and proximity sensor works pretty well. But...

Thanks. Enabling 'over phone call' helps. It does not unmute, but we can hear the direction. The insanity of this 'auto muting' spills into other modes too. - First of all there is no 'unmute' button. That means I need to increase the volume each time from zero to whatever level it was at...

I am surprised the EVSE that comes with e-golf is only 10 AMP. Most other cars come with 12amp chargers. I would like to buy another EVSE. I have to stick to level 1 (120V) since there is no option for me to upgrade to 240V (rental house). What do you recommend? Can I get 16AMP, does normal...
