Can anyone offer feedback on the Pepco PIV charging pilot program? I am interested in the second meter, the bundled rate looks good for off peak green but I am still hesitant.

Is it possible they will add the lock feature or is that technically impossible?

rjnerd is correct, I guess I found the manual wording to be confusing. Received an e-mail back from VW and they said that dark patterned area is the intended area for EZ Pass.

Agreed, but I've tried 3 times, 2 by phone and one by email and gotten the same basic response. It's a car with such amazing technology backed up with such relatively antiquated technology (see discussion on Car-Net for more proof...). Still enjoying the car though.

Just wanted to add that because of this discussion I attempted to contact VW for a lightning adapter both by phone and email and they said that the trade-in of 30-pin was a "promotion" and it's over and that I should buy one for myself.

I have an EZ Pass transponder that I have always kept velcroed to my front windshield for tolls. From reading the manual, it looks like this is not a good idea because of the metallic infrared-reflecting coating. Manual seems to say that the area at the rearview mirror is not an appropriate...
