I used a relay and a Raspberry Pi/webserver for my garage door and it is super fast to open from my smart phone.

It is being pumped into the cabin, which is very weird, I think they just reused the GTI soundakator or something. I am going to dig into my car this weekend and figure out a way to unplug it.

It says nothing about it being for 2016, it says they want to bring it out by the end of the year, and the radio they show looks like the current model. Hopefully it will be a Software update for us 2015 early adopters.
