My 2016 E Golf battery just died a half a mile from home! Can I tow it with another vehicle if I can turn on the ignition and release parking brake and put in neutral at about 10mph? Thank you in anticipation of fast reply. Steve

To close this thread out I took my Delphi charger unit/cable to a VW dealer as my car was a certified with warranty. Sure enough they saw the hard kink in the cable and deemed it not serviceable and gave me a brand new one. This new unit does not get hot or hardly even warm so my old one was...

My 2016 fully charged using Level 1 charger at home shows the battery level right hand small gauge! just a tad under full. Am I correct that as the battery degrades this will drop when fully charged? Also in the center display when full charged it reads approx 69 miles, is this OK/normal. Thanks

Thank you for the helpful comments. i can keep my hand on the hot part so it is probably no where near dangerous. I think the hard kink may be causing resistance it feels like it is a 90 degree bend of hard wire inside but I cannot see any cuts in the rubber sleeving. I will take to the local...
