Power button was not working well, had to push it several times to turn car on or off.

Just saw this topic and I think it relates to the problem I just posted title "Car won't charge". This repair work was impressive. Not sure I could pull that off, so just hoping for some advice.

I've had my 2015 e-golf for a few years now and have loved it. The other day it suddenly wouldn't charge when plugged in at home. Went to VW dealer and they said I need to replace the high-voltage charging connector lock 1 adjuster $1,734, the power button $261 and the shutter grill $1,296...
