Yes this will resolve the issue. If the piston senses a jam it will retract and not engage charging. If you move either portion of the piston it will still actuate thinking it is locked.

If you have Kessy you can code the vehicle with VCDS to auto lock. The issue is that if you have the key in your pocket and you close a door it locks immediately. No delay so if you have to reach into the back you would have to unlock the car to get into back doors or wait to close your door...

That is how it functions. If you hold the button it will zero out and if you continue to hold you will see it revert to your ODO mileage then change function to time or battery charge...

I'm running v14.10. What you are referring too is the long coding helper. VCDS hasn't deciphered a lot of the information in the long coding. You have to use Adaptation to edit almost all of these which is the box below coding. It opens up a drop down box. Always copy your original code first...

I got it to work unknowingly. I kept attempting to turn it on and like others mentioned it wouldn't update. It would just cycle like it was awaiting confirmation and when I went to the vehicle it was working and never sent confirmation.
