    2020 e-Golf cancelled

Probably everybody already knew this, but seems like it's confirmed Canada-only by a VW spokesman. https://insideevs.com/news/401653/2020-vw-e-golf-canceled-us/ It will be interesting to see what fills this slot in the EV market. Most people don't need 300 miles range and don't want to spend...

    Possible e-Golf recall?

I saw this article in Electrek. Apparently VW might have to recall about 124,000 electric and PHEV cars due to them containing poisonous cadmium. It doesn't sound like a health risk to those of us driving them, but it might be a problem if/when these cars are disposed of at a future date...

    Warranty and Maintenance question

I have been looking through the books that came with the e-Golf and there is a "USA Warranty and Maintenance" book. One thing in the book is the Service schedule. The first page of it has a "Delivery Inspection" section that is supposed to have a date and the dealer's stamp. It's blank of...

Purchase price higher than the "lease price"?

I prefer to buy a car, not lease it. However, the dealers really push the lease aggressively. In addition, they list prices that are only good for the lease. For example, a 2015 SEL Premium at one dealer was $24,497 - of course when you call, this is the "lease price" and the buy price is...
