    Backup proximity sensors

My car came equipped with parking sensors. They have saved me front a few dents.

Faulty: Electronic Parking Break light on

Try another dealer. Their answer sounds dubious.

2019 SE Sudden drop in range - battery "fixed" - still can't fully charge

Great to hear. Thanks for final update. Good to know the BMS needs a few cycles to be calibrated after a module replacement.

Most efficient LRR tire to replace Ecopia 422

I think one type is OEM for our car. All I know is I got 60,000 miles out of my first set so a bought another set. They are good for my use case.

High mileage but young ... what is the battery risk?

It is possible, but will vary by car. For example, Hyundai Ioniq batteries may lose only 3% after 10 years and 100,000 miles.

High mileage but young ... what is the battery risk?

Palm desert is very hot. That puts extra stress on the battery. Best of luck with your decision. You could ask for a photo of the dashboard showing SOC and estimated range - this is not ideal information because the GOM (Guess O meter) is based on recent driving, but at least it is some...

High mileage but young ... what is the battery risk?

HV battery degradation is function of calendar age as well as charge cycles, and pack temperature also interacts with these two variables, higher temperatures being bad for cell health. You are located in Reno where it is not too hot, but I don't know where car is for sale. The way to mitigate...

Poor range on 2019 e golf

Sure, I understand. You could plug in an OBD dongle and use Car Scanner to confirm usable capacity. FYI my car shows 28.5 kWh usable at 100% SoC and my car has 70,000 miles.

Poor range on 2019 e golf

Just wanted to be sure. I agree at 10 C it should have more range - you said AC off, but what about heat?

Poor range on 2019 e golf

Something sounds wrong with charging data, though 170 km sounds about right, depending on weather and how you drive. What is the ambient temperature? Are you driving up big hills? Are you sure you didn’t purchase a 2016 or older e-Golf? Battery warranty is 8 years - 100,000 miles so pack is...

    Change oil now!

e-Golf doesn't have a clutch, though it does have brake fluid. Use a brake fluid tester to check water content of brake fluid. If there's an issue, change the fluid, otherwise, I think every 2 years is overkill. I haven't changed the brake fluid on my e-Golf for 4 years and the fluid is fine.

High-voltage discharge while car is not used

That makes sense. I have seen similar behavior when ambient temps stay pretty steady. .

High-voltage discharge while car is not used

Probably temperature related. As pack cools, it may lose some SoC. I do not believe car charges 12V if not charging or turned on.

    overheat warning

Not seen it. Should be a stored code. Could be a bad sensor or faulty circulation pump if coolant level is ok.

    Car does not start.

Yes, my car also complains when key gets too far away.
