I am looking at a 2016 SEL with drive assist package with following pricing:
MSRP: 36945
Negotiated: 32000
Money factor: .000365
Fed Credit: 7500
Lease: 24 months
Miles: 10000/yr
Residual: 16994.70
Drive off: 1500
Monthly: 391.40+tax
City: San Diego

Problem I'm having is I cannot get the leasehackr form to give this number. It gives me 1428 drive off with 354+tax monthly. Anyone have ideas of what I could be missing?

Did the worksheet include the Cap Reduction Tax on the $7,500 credit? That is the one big thing that is different for EV leases, in California at least.

$391 a month? Wow some dealer definitely went for the 'rip me off at the throat' campaign.

I bought( did not lease) a 2015 SEL in Oct of 2015 for about $25,200... So Vw took 11K + off of the $36,300 MSRP for the sales price. Then I got a $7500 Federal tax credit from my CPA in March of 2016 for the purchase. Do the math from there.

There's no way I would make those kind of lease payments on a 2016, regardless of that late add on feature. Wait for the 2018, or find a better dealership, and a better deal, in a different region of the USA.

That is horrendous. Don't even consider it.

Are you sure the money factor is .000365 (0.88% interest) and not .00365 (8.76%)? The latter causes all the other numbers to magically make more sense.

Also, 24 month leases don't quality for the state $2500 rebate, so it's more common to see 30 or 36 month. Granted, that rebate is currently on a waiting list, but still...it's not chump change.

In CA, there is no more $2500 rebate. It was posted in another thread that they are not renewing it.

johnnylingo was correct - I was given an incorrect money factor. It was actually .00095.
The $2500 is gone and I only wanted a 2 year lease for my own reasons.
I ended up picking this up tonight for $1500 down and $388/mo (includes tax).
I'm very happy with the car and with what i paid :)
