Best charger for the 2016 eGolf please?

New eGolf owner here, hi!

Am wanting to order a level2 cable

I am in Phoenix where it gets hotttt

Concerned that if I order the fastest/highest output cable, the heat will turn off charging(113degrees). Or do damage?

This vehicle will not be garaged.

Will need to charge the car sometimes in public, in the sunlight. But, will be mostly at night

Available outlets in my garage are the normal 110, and a 220 which we can use to plug a 5th wheel trailer in.

Any suggestions from someone in a desert climate are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Any EVSE unit that is 240V and 30 amp capable with a NEMA 14-50 plug should provide everything you need to recharge your e-Golf. Make sure the EVSE is outdoor electrical rated. Make sure that the 240v plug in your garage is controlled by a 50 amp circuit breaker at the electrical panel.
