Maasachusetts Lease and Excise tax ???

So do any of you in Mass know how much Excise tax you will pay on your lease ?

I was reading the rules and it says that a lease is not Exempt from this tax.

another reason I am not sure I ever want to lease... There is no way I am paying a few hundred every year to a car I will not own

Just a bump to see if anyone in MA has gotten an Excise tax bill.
Or can you look in your lease to see what it says about Excise tax ?

I think the excise tax is paid based on the value of the car. And you pay it to your city / town, right?

Yes, but Some say that it depends on what the Lease says.

I read somewhere that people were sent a BILL from the Lease company.

Was just curious.

I bought used i-MiEV instead so my excise is cheap
