I have received two of the California state rebates for electric vehicles. Their system is well established and as long as you read the eligibility rules and document requirements carefully, you will receive the rebate within 60 days of your accepted application. There have been periods when the funding ran out because the State did not provide the program permanent funding, but that is not the case today, and I'm sure it will not run out before April or May 2017.

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums and totally new to the EV car. I'm interested in the 2016 eGolf SE w/Fast Charger. VW Pacific is running the $2,499 down+ $99 X 30 months. Is it a good deal? Thanks

It's good but not great.
That's a 7500 mile, I hope you don't plan to use that car daily.
