Speedometer inaccurate?

I've only had my eGolf for 6 days now but I've been 'shot' about a dozen times by radar. Each time the indicated speed on the radar sign is exactly 1mph slower than what my cluster panel is showing. I'm not too concerned about this as it has me on the safe side. Just curious if anyone else has this 'issue'?

That is definitely not the German way... almost all VW's read 2 to 3 mph slow at 35 to 75 mph. 1 mph is cutting it kind of thin. German TUV requirement.
