Are there any deliveries yet? If not, when does Volkswagen intend to start deliveries...

Are there anybody from Germany on here who have made a pre-order for the electric Golf?

The VW e-Golf, unveiled at the LA Auto Show in November, has just been made commercially available in Germany. The starting price is €34,900 (~$47,800). That comes with an 8-year / 160,000-kilometer (99,419-mile) battery warranty. That’s almost exactly the same price as the BMW i3.

The very first deliveries has taken place in germany and more are to come soon. I live in Denmark but I am very interested in the e-Golf and follow a german forum : http://www.goingelectric.de/forum/vw-e-golf

In this thread : http://www.goingelectric.de/forum/vw-e-golf/erste-fahrt-mit-dem-egolf-t5290-30.html#p105882

there is a few people describing their very first impressions of owning the car.

Thanks for the link, some very interesting information (courtesy of Google Translate of course)

I was able to find some sales information for Germay

Apparently in June 2014, there were 81 e-Golf's sold in Germany, bringing the yearly sales to date to 231
