Do they say 50kw on the screen? If input voltage is 208v at 160A, that's only 33kw (which is about the max for the e-Golf anyway).

Yeah I have my Car-Net set for 5am departure as well and it seems to work well with this EVSE. It works without having to refresh the app to kickstart it or anything. Still haven't been able to get the charger's delay button to work. Easier to just leave it on 5am departure everyday.

Yeah, I didn't post any links, the forums auto linked some junk. That's the charger I am talking about, and I had the same thought. I don't think the e-Golf can accept 50kw. I believe the battery is only about 320 volts. Since the 50kw's probably comes from 500 volts and 100 amps...
