Yeah, delayed charging has been flawless for me since then, including charging to a set percentage.

I haven't received word yet if there's any official TSB number for the Clipper Creek specific issue. I do know it's baked into the new charging units already, so if he has a relatively new e-Golf, it should have both the general timed charge issue (TSB 2040470) and the Clipper Creek issue taken...

More than just based on, it IS the PCS-15. From my interaction with Clipper Creek, they told me that they source all the parts to Delphi, and Delphi assembles it and slaps their sticker on it. From what I've seen of the i3, they use a re-badged CC PCS-15 as well.

My S2000 is projector HID and doesn't have auto-leveling. Though that might be because it wasn't required in the 2000-2009 timeframe the car was on the market. It does have rather sharp cutoffs in its projection pattern, though. And yes, I agree, aftermarket headlights without DOT approval...
