I am noticing that if I keep quarters in my right front pocket, I am more liable to get a reading saying that the Battery in my Key fob needs replacing. Nickle, dimes and penny's don't seem to affect the signal, but quarters in my pocket tend to cause the screen to read "replace the Keyfob batteries.

Just sharing this with others here, to see if they notice this also. Quarters seem to mess up the radio signal frequency between keyfob and car, IMHO. Removing the quarters out of my pocket tends to make the dash notice go away. YMMV.

One of our fobs causes the "battery replacement" message. I check the voltage on both fob batteries and the both read 2.96V with a multi-meter. Weird only one causes the message, and no change is in my pocket.
