Did anyone learn anything new from the press release earlier this week? Does the US have a confirmed range?
 
Still no official US range, although I'm not sure how much it matters. It has the same battery size as the Leaf, I doubt the efficiency will vary by more than 5-10%. So I expect it to be 80-90 miles on the Monroney sticker.

To me, the much more important factor is price. I hope it is competitive with the Leaf, but VWs tend to be more expensive than Nissans so I don't know that's a given.
 
I saw 2 e-GOLF electric doing drive testing here in Phoenix Arizona about a month ago. Lots of nice meters in the from seat to monitor how it was running. They should have stayed for the 110F temperatures this month.
