Is there a way to see battery percentage or charge rates?

See Traction battery SoC % no longer reported by new Car-Net.com for this. I can only assume it works on all versions/years of e-Golf, though.

    Battery "Breaking In"?

How much efficiency would be lost by running extremely low tire pressures? For example, someone with legacy automotive skills, thinking all tires should have 32 psi. Is it possible the OP originally had his tire pressures low, and later on adjusted them correctly?

    charging to 90%

If you examine the logic of the how the system should work, you can see that if charging was limited to anything below 100% with no timers turned on, then that's when charging was not working correctly. The minimum charge parameter (on the main battery page of the web-based car-net, for...

    charging to 90%

I don't care about delayed charging, only limiting to 90% There's no indication here that the OP cares about delayed charging either, but it's a valid concern. If so, the minimum battery should be set to a lower percentage. Mostly, since the OP's settings worked for so long, I'd pay attention...

    charging to 90%

Do you check, when you plug in, that the top button isn't lit, as in this picture? That indicates a delayed charge isn't in effect, possibly from pushing that button. If the bottom button is never lit, even before plugging in, or directly pressing the button, there is no delayed charge...

    Car-Net update on 6/2/17

On my LG V10 Android (6.0) phone, I can swipe down from the top of the screen to view the notifications, hold my finger on one of the carnet notifies, and an "i" button shows up on the right side, touch that and I can block notifications for the carnet app. Alternatively, I can go to...

    20K Maintenance

I should have mentioned that when I scheduled the service online, the estimated charge was for the cabin filter only at $60. $280 was a big surprise. I plan to call other dealers to see what they charge, and possibly VW itself.

    20K Maintenance

I was charged $280 for the 20K service, before a 15% discount for being a Costco member, at Power VW in Corvallis, Ore. Has anyone else been charged for the service?

2015 SEL not charging to 100%

Which button is lit when you plug your charge cable in? If it's the upper button, as shown in the picture, the car should always charge to 100%. If the lower button, a timer schedule is in effect, and could limit maximum charge.

Charging fault, charging port locked and won't let go

When it happened to me, I had been using the OEM EVSE that came with the car. It's plug's shell extends as a guard over the latch, preventing the simple screwdriver plunger manipulation described above. So, I made this tool*. It takes a bit of finessing to get around the guard, but it works...

    Key Fob Battery Life

Started getting the low battery warning after about 1.25 years, 12.5k miles.

    Charger Port Lock

Your emphasis of the button state seems to imply that either there is a different result if the button is NOT held down, or you didn't check that condition. Was it one of those?

    Have you experienced battery degradation?

I'd be curious about how many miles eGolfs have been accruing. I've only put 7.5k on mine in 10 months, with no noticeable capacity loss, and wouldn't expect any just yet. I'm sure others have gone a lot further... maybe a mileage vs. battery capacity thread? The annual/10k service may produce...

Radio always comes on with startup

I keep mine on the media function rather than radio, so the auto-sound issue isn't really a problem. If my phone's bluetooth is off, or no playlist is active, there's no sound when the car starts.

    2015-6 e-Golf HVAC 72F fix Tech Tip 87-15-02

I asked my dealer to apply this change, and they said since it's a customer preference modification, it would cost $105.50. While I wasn't prepared to pay any amount for this, which I consider a fix of something broken by design, I wanted to know how much cash I'd be able to get rid of, if it...

    Known eGolf TSBs

Other TSBs that have been mentioned are, 2040184 (HVAC,) and 2040470 (charging, I think.) No idea why the different number formats.

Have to open door before being able to unlock charger

I should have worded it differently. With that continuous light pressure on the latch button before you press unlock on your remote, when the latch releases, the button goes down completely. Keep it down and it can't re-latch -- you can pull the connector out at will. You don't need to be quick.

Only charging at 3.6kW/hr at Chargepoint stations

Is it possible that when you plug in, you're already pretty close to full charge? I haven't watched the behavior on my car recently, so I'm not sure, and I only charge to 100% about once every 3 weeks, but I seem to recall the rate tapers off at some point after 90% even with an L2 supply. Then...
